ABOUT
Canalside is an Outdoor Activity and Environment Centre based in Mill Hill Blackburn. The centre is run by a small team of Scouting volunteers from St Georges Mill Hill Scout Group. The centre has been developed for use by local Scout, Guide and other Community Groups to ensure people have affordable access to learn and have fun outdoors in a safe environment.
WHAT WE DO
Canalside Activity and Environment Centre offers a wide range of activities and events predominantly for youth groups across Blackburn with Darwen and beyond. Most activities are leader led and once group leaders have received an induction, they can book and use the site and equipment.
In addition, the Centre hosts community events such as Scout and Guide District events, adult training and mental health projects working with external providers.
